This month marks Art & Hue’s 10th birthday!
Ten years ago in 2014, the concept of Art & Hue was born and the 26th of July 2014 was the creation of the Art & Hue name and the registration of the website and social media profiles at Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
After several months of work researching archival cotton papers, creating artworks, testing prints, and building the website, Art & Hue went live on the 2nd of October 2014.
A decade has seemingly flown by very quickly during which time many new pop art collections have been launched, inspired by Mid-Century Modern style, film, television, royalty, sport, fashion, historical figures, architecture, travel, and more – mostly in-house “studio” art prints by Art & Hue but also official collaborations with studios including STUDIOCANAL & ITV, and institutions including Beano & Ashmolean.
The response to the Art & Hue collections over 10 years has been phenomenal and it’s wonderful to know that there are Art & Hue prints in homes globally. It’s been fabulous to connect with art buyers, film and TV studios, stores, & press in appreciation of the various themes that inspire Art & Hue, such as Mid-century architecture, The Avengers, fashion, and music, as well as actors, actresses, & family members related to the subjects of the pop art collections.
Thanks to everyone who has supported Art & Hue over the past decade, from art buyers & online cheerleaders to press & studios.
