Saucy Seventies Glamour by Art & Hue

Art & Hue presents Saucy Seventies, a new collection of stylish pop art prints featuring glamourous actresses from British saucy comedies.

Bond-girls Madeline Smith, Caroline Munro, Jenny Hanley, Julie Ege, and Valerie Leon are joined by Antonia Ellis, Carol Hawkins, Vikki Richards, and Leigh Lawson in this collection inspired by 70s glamour.

Far from being a slice of British cinematic history created purely for the male gaze, following the sexual revolution and liberation of the 1960s, the saucy comedy films of the 70s feature emancipated & empowered female characters who knew what, and who, they wanted.

Whilst there’s less nudity in the saucy comedy films of the 70s than in contemporary TV shows, they must have seemed pretty racy at the time and paved the way for more full-frontal romps like “The Stud” with Joan Collins, written by her sister Jackie.

With a new sensual colour combination of Red & Lilac, evocative of vintage lipsticks, powder puffs, and heady floral perfumes, the Saucy Seventies collection comes in three sizes & many colour options.

Exclusively by Art & Hue, all pop art prints are printed on museum-quality archival card of 310gsm, made from 100% cotton, using fine-art pigment inks for longevity.

“At the Earth’s Core” (1976), “Blood from the Mummy’s Tomb” (1971), “Not Now, Comrade” (1976), “Percy” (1970), “Percy’s Progress” (1974), “Up Pompeii” (1971), “Up The Front” (1972), Copyright © STUDIOCANAL Films Ltd, All rights reserved.
