Art & Hue presents Cliff Richard

Stylish pop art prints inspired by Sir Cliff’s classic film musicals.

Appropriately enough for Summer, Art & Hue presents a new pop art collection inspired by Cliff Richard, Britain’s first true rock’n’roll star, and his film musicals of the 1960s.

An official collaboration with Studiocanal, Art & Hue has delved into the archives to uncover images from Sir Cliff’s beloved film musicals, which have been transformed into ten stylish pop art prints.

“The Young Ones”, “Summer Holiday”, and “Wonderful Life” conquered the box office and made Cliff a successful film star as well as a music icon.

Along with The Shadows, and a repertory of recurring actors including Una Stubbs, Richard O’Sullivan, and Melvyn Hayes, Cliff’s film musicals brought joy to cinemagoers at the time and they still entertain viewers to this day, soon to be aided by a new 4k restoration of “Summer Holiday”.

The remastered film will be available on Blu-ray and DVD at Amazon, and comes with extras including an interview with Saint Etienne’s Bob Stanley and a short film called “Rhythm & Greens” from 1964.

Available in a wide choice of colours and three sizes, all artworks are printed on 310gsm fine art museum-quality matte paper, made from 100% cotton, using archival pigment inks for longevity.
