Art & Hue presents Alice

To mark 200 years since the birth of the influential illustrator Sir John Tenniel, Art & Hue presents Alice.

Staying faithful to the spirit of the original engravings, the collection in Art & Hue’s graphic style is available in 20 colours and 3 sizes.

The collection of stylish pop art prints features some of John Tenniel’s iconic illustrations from Lewis Carroll’s classic books “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There”.

The books have never been out of print since “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” was first published in 1865 and they have inspired multiple generations of readers as well as numerous film adaptations.

Using the pseudonym Lewis Carroll, the books by Charles Dodgson combined John Tenniel’s illustrations within the body of the story and are an integral part of the reading experience.

In 1893, Sir John Tenniel was the first illustrator to receive a knighthood when the honor was bestowed by Queen Victoria.

As well as his beloved illustrations for Lewis Carroll’s Alice books, Tenniel was a political cartoonist for Punch magazine.

Exclusively by Art & Hue, the Alice collection is printed on museum-quality archival card of 310gsm, made from 100% cotton, with fine-art pigment inks for longevity.

2020 marks 200 years since the birth of John Tenniel and 155 years of Alice’s Adventures.
