Hugh Griffith pop art print
Born in Anglesey, Hugh Griffith became a mainstay of British cinema appearing in many classic productions.
Some of his earliest film appearances were in “Night Train to Munich” with Basil Radford & Naunton Wayne, “The Three Weird Sisters”, and “The Last Days of Dolwyn” with Richard Burton, before going on to star in a trio of Ealing comedies.
Griffith appeared in the Ealing classics “Kind Hearts & Coronets“, “A Run for Your Money“, and “The Titfield Thunderbolt“.

With Charlton Heston, Stephen Boyd, Cathy O’Donnell & Jack Hawkins, Griffith starred in “Ben-Hur” for which he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
