The suave agent with a cheeky charm, and a mysterious past, Mike Gambit was the main male action hero of “The New Avengers” who endeared himself to audiences as the dashing tough man with a bold wit and a flirtatious manner.

Whilst John Steed still participated in missions, he became more of a mentor which left Gambit & Purdey to take on action duties in “The New Avengers“.
