Stylish pop art print of Jimmy Logan.

Born in Glasgow to a theatrical family, Jimmy Logan was one of the great Scottish entertainers in a career that spanned six decades.

His film debut was in the Scottish classic “Floodtide” with Gordon Jackson, John Laurie, Elizabeth Sellars, & Molly Weir.

“Floodtide” led to the radio show “It’s All Yours” with Stanley Baxter, succeeded by “Just as You Please”.

Logan appeared in two Carry On films, in “Carry On Abroad” with the Carry on Team and Carol Hawkins, & “Carry On Girls” with Valerie Leon, Wendy Richard, & Margaret Nolan.

On TV, Logan had his own specials then series from 1957 called, appropriately, “The Jimmy Logan Show”, later revived in 1968.

Other TV appearances included “The White Heather Club”, “Take the High Road”, “The Upper Hand” with Honor Blackman, “Rab C. Nesbitt” with Alex Norton, “Doctor Finlay” with Ian Bannen, “Six-Five Special” with Jim Dale, & “Celebrity Squares”, to name a few.

Logan appeared in “The Wild Affair“, the stylish 60s film starring Terry-Thomas and Nancy Kwan with her influential Vidal Sassoon bob and Quant wardrobe.

An official collaboration with Studiocanal, this print is part of the Scottish Cinema pop art collection, featuring Art & Hue’s signature halftone style (halftone is an age-old technique that uses dots to make up the printed image, similar to newspapers or comic books).

Jimmy Logan also features on the Scottish Film Map pop art print.
