Margaret Lockwood Pop Art
Margaret Lockwood was arguably the queen of British cinema, reigning from the 1930s to the 1950s, cemented with performances in Hitchcock‘s “The Lady Vanishes” and Leslie Arliss’ “The Wicked Lady”.
One of Margaret’s later performances was in the 1952 detective film “Trent’s Last Case” with Orson Welles, Kenneth Williams, & Sam Kydd. Her first performance in two years, the film was screened to the trade (cinema distributors) on the 9th of September 1952, and premiered to the public at London’s Plaza Cinema on the 31st of October 1952.
