Julie Ege
Julie’s first English film role was as the Scandinavian girl attending Blofeld’s allergy clinic at Piz Gloria in what many consider to be the best Bond film, “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service“.
Starring Diana Rigg & George Lazenby, Julie’s fellow “Angels of Death” in OHMSS include Jenny Hanley, Joanna Lumley, Sylvana Henriques & Anouska Hempel.
Julie also had memorable appearances in “Up Pompeii” with Frankie Howerd, Barbara Murray, Carol Hawkins, & Madeline Smith, “Every Home Should Have One” with Marty Feldman & Penelope Keith, “Go For A Take” with Anouska Hempel, Dennis Price, Melvyn Hayes, & David Prowse, “Not Now, Darling” with Barbara Windsor, “The Final Programme” with Harry Andrews, “The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires” with Peter Cushing, and “Craze” & “The Amorous Milkman” with Diana Dors.
Julie Ege appeared in the saucy Seventies comedy “Percy’s Progress” with Leigh Lawson, Jenny Hanley, Madeline Smith, Vincent Price, Vikki Richards, Barry Humphries, & Carol Hawkins.
Produced by the filmmakers behind the Doctor film series starring Dirk Bogarde & James Robertson Justice, “Percy’s Progress” was released as “It’s Not the Size That Counts” in America.
The film is a sequel of sorts to the 1970 film “Percy” with Britt Ekland, Patrick Mower, & Antonia Ellis.
