Patrick Fyffe
Before becoming known to viewers as Dame Hilda Bracket, Patrick developed the persona of Perri St Claire who featured in the “Steptoe & Son’ film in 1971.
Credited as Perry Sinclair, Patrick also appeared in Patrick Mower‘s first episode of “Special Branch” called “Round The Clock” in 1973.
As Hinge & Bracket, Patrick Fyffe and George Logan appeared as guests on shows including “Ronnie Corbett‘s Saturday Special” before securing their own long-running series on radio and television.
Their personas of elderly erudite musicians entertained with comic songs and double-entendres from their fictional Suffolk village.
One of Patrick’s final credits was “Grace & Favour” with the “Are You Being Served?” team including John Inman & Mollie Sugden.
