These stylish pop art prints feature a background that remixes the vintage song contest graphic that’s no longer used, but reworked in Art & Hue’s minimal style to read “E*U*R*O*P*A*S*O*N*G”.

Who can forget such classic song titles as “Boom Bang a Bang“, “Diggi Loo Diggi Ley“, “La, La, La“, & “Ding a Dong“? Well not Art & Hue as they all appear in this graphic print.

La La La” was the winning song by Spanish entry Massiel in 1968; “Boom Bang-a-Bang” was Lulu‘s winning entry in 1969; “Ding a Dong” won in 1975 when it was performed by the Netherlands’ Teach-In; and “Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley” won in 1984 by Swedish brothers Herreys.

With French singer Jean Philippe crooning into a microphone in the Europasong print, he represented Switzerland in the 1962 competition with the song “Le Retour”.

Jean Philippe was the first performer to represent two different countries in the contest having previously represented France in 1959 with the song “Oui, oui, oui, oui” which finished in third place.

Royaume Uni Douze Points“ is a phrase that United Kingdom viewers hadn’t heard for many years until 2022.

Previous United Kingdom winners who secured “Douze Points” for “Royaume Uni” include Sandie Shaw, who won in 1967 with “Puppet on a String”; Lulu who triumphed in 1969 with “Boom Bang-a-Bang”; and the Brotherhood of Man who won in 1976 with “Save Your Kisses for Me”.
