Wilhelmina Slater
Art & Hue’s pop art illustration is an homage to the iconic fictional fashion editor Wilhelmina Slater of Mode magazine in “Ugly Betty”, available in three sizes & 21 colour options.

As Wilhelmina Slater in “Ugly Betty”, Vanessa Williams plays the character of a ruthless creative director determined to get the top job of editor-in-chief at Mode magazine. Armed with quick vicious barbs & a sharp designer wardrobe, Wilhelmina’s plotting and scheming ultimately pays off.

The pacey and high camp soap opera provided Williams with the perfect platform to deliver an iconic performance which cemented Wilhelmina into the pantheon of great fictional fashion editors.

The first African American woman to win the Miss America pageant, Vanessa Williams went on to excel in every field she turned her talents to, as a successful singer, actress, and producer.

Just some of Vanessa’s many film and TV credits include “The Odyssey” with Christopher Lee, “Eraser” with Arnold Schwarzenegger, “Desperate Housewives”, “The Librarians”, “Modern Family”, “Daytime Divas”, “66 Park Avenue”, “And Then Came Love” with Eartha Kitt, “The Good Wife”, and “Another You” with Richard Pryor, to name a very few.

Since releasing her first album in 1988, Williams has had a successful music career parallel to acting, with Grammy-nominated releases and chart-topping hits across the world. Still singing, Vanessa released a new single in April this year, “Legs (Keep Dancing)“, the first song from a new upcoming album.
