Sid James Lavender Hill Mob
Before he became the incorrigible face & laugh of the Carry On films, Sid James appeared in two Ealing Comedies, “The Titfield Thunderbolt“, with Stanley Holloway, Naunton Wayne, John Gregson & George Relph, and “The Lavender Hill Mob“.
Art & Hue had the pleasure to delve into the archives for the Ealing Comedy “The Lavender Hill Mob” to create this stylish pop art print of Sid James, available in three sizes and 20 colours.
This print of Sid James is also available as part of a group of eight prints.
Rewatch, or discover anew, the film on DVD & Blu-ray from Amazon or watch on iTunes now.
The Lavender Hill Mob
Crime couldn’t be seen to pay in 1951 so the scheme is thwarted but, as with most Ealing comedies, the audience is willing on the main characters to succeed.
Sid James Lavender Hill Mob

An official collaboration with Studiocanal, this print is part of “The Lavender Hill Mob” collection and the Ealing Comedies collection of stylish pop art prints inspired by the classic British comedy films made at Ealing Studios, featuring Art & Hue’s signature halftone style (halftone is an age-old technique that uses dots to make up the printed image, similar to newspapers or comic books).
