Nellie Brown Pop Art
One of the original Buffalo gals, Nellie Brown was a pioneering Black cowgirl of the Old West era.
The frontier was one of the few places in the United States at the time that provided African American men and women with the opportunity to make their own life choices, working the frontier land.
The look of the Buffalo girls of the American West partly inspired Vivienne Westwood’s Autumn/Winter 1982/83 collection of raw-cut hides, full skirts, ponchos, and multiple layers, an era that still inspires the designer’s oversized ginghams and Pharrell’s meme-generating Buffalo hat.
Available in A4, A3, and A2 sizes to fit standard-size picture frames. Please note that black frame is not included – for a guide on choosing a frame size take a look here.
