Edward VI Pop Art
Upon the death of his father in 1547, the son of King Henry VIII ascended to the throne. Edward VI was crowned at the age of nine and reigned until his death from illness at the age of 15 in 1553. Edward named Lady Jane Grey as his heir but her reign lasted just nine days when deposed by his half-sister Mary I.
