Cindy Crawford
Cindy is one of the original “big five” fashion models who were photographed on the streets of New York by the visionary photographer Peter Lindbergh.
That 1989 image became the cover of the January 1990 issue of British Vogue and heralded the birth of the supermodel.
The five models on the iconic cover were seen by George Michael who asked them to appear in the video for “Freedom 90” and introduced supermodels to MTV audiences globally.
The all-American model has appeared in, and on, many magazines, in music videos, and commercials, as well as hosting her own MTV show.
Modelling runs in the family with both Cindy’s children, Kaia Gerber & Presley Gerber, hitting the catwalks and magazines.
Still modelling 30 years on from that famous cover, Cindy has recently walked for Versace alongside Naomi & Claudia, and continues to appear in and on magazines.
