We aim to post “ready-to-buy” art prints within three working days of receiving payment, and bespoke art prints within three working days of receiving approval, to allow printing and drying time, but UK customers should allow up to seven working days for items to arrive. All art is printed to order.
For bespoke art, we aim to be in touch to confirm preferred colours and final art approval within three days of receiving payment and the photograph to be given the Art & Hue treatment.
Orders to destinations outside the UK will take longer.
All art print orders are sent recorded delivery (or international tracked or recorded), via Royal Mail, which may require a signature upon receipt. If you live outside the UK, you may be responsible for local taxes and customs duties.
When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with confirmation of shipping along with a tracking number.
To calculate shipping charges, enter your address on the Cart page.
We cannot ship to PO Boxes, only a physical home or work address where someone can sign to take delivery of the order.
If you are not able to take delivery for any reason and the item is returned to us, we will be happy to resend once we have received payment for the second-attempt shipping charges, otherwise we will refund the item (for returnable items only) minus the first-attempt shipping and any additional shipping costs that may be charged to us to return the item.
Items may take longer to despatch as we may need to make further checks in relation to a payment to ensure the cardholder has ordered the item/s.
If an order is a gift, to a delivery address that is different to the billing address, then a gift message can be printed to include with the order (add the message in the optional “Notes & comments” box on the Checkout page) otherwise a note will be included with the names of the sender & the recipient only (no prices will be included).
Art & Hue reserves the right to decline any orders for any reason including, but not limited to, considering the card payment to be high-risk, in which case payment will be refunded and the order cancelled.
Please make sure to inspect your delivery carefully when you receive it and if there are any signs of damage to the package, make sure to write “Damaged” when signing for it.
If you wish to exchange an item, additional postage costs must be paid before we can resend as we cannot cover postage on exchanges. All Art & Hue prints are on museum-quality matte paper of 310gsm, made from 100% cotton, which have a natural texture inherent to the variable properties of cotton archival card.
Shipping costs for wholesale orders are billed at cost and stores can use their own account or nominated or preferred shipping method.
All customised art prints are made-to-order and personalised with the photographs, text, and/or colour choices selected by the shopper so can not be returned. As bespoke art prints are non-returnable, make sure to select preferred colour choices and/or to input text carefully when ordering.
If you have placed an order but wish to cancel it before it is printed or shipped, contact us asap. If items have already been printed or shipped, follow the Returns procedure laid out below. Art & Hue reserves the right to not accept an order placed at the website in which case payment will be refunded and the order cancelled.
It is important to contact Art & Hue as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order for bespoke artwork as, once work has already started on creating customised pieces, they cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable.
If you want to return greeting cards for any reason, get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order.
All Art & Hue artworks are printed to order in the custom choice of colour and/or size specified at the time of ordering. Artworks printed to order are not subject to returns and are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Bespoke and customised art prints, as well as all discounted & sale items, are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure the item gets to us safely so we recommend you post by Recorded or Special delivery.
We cannot refund or exchange any items returned to us which are damaged in transit (so make sure to pack them securely), fail to reach us, or have been opened.
Any shipping costs to return an item are the responsibility of the shopper, unless we have wrongly shipped an incorrect item that you did not order in which case we will pay up to the value of second class recorded mail only. We cannot refund shipping costs for orders delivered outside the UK unless we have wrongly shipped a faulty or incorrect item.
We will aim to process your refund or exchange as soon as possible once items have been returned in their original unopened packaging and condition but please allow up to two weeks.
Please make sure that the item is not damaged, creased, ripped, or smells of smoke, perfume, cooking or food aromas, etc, and is in a condition that we deem resaleable.
Occasionally we may offer free items with your order. If you are returning your item for a refund, free items must also be returned at the same time.
New regulations on packaging mean it is prohibitively expensive to send orders to some E.U. countries. Any art buyers in Austria, Germany, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Poland, Spain & Sweden can maybe use a delivery address of a contact in a neighbouring country. Perhaps these countries will amend their laws in the future to only apply to large corporations as some other E.U. countries have done. Apologies for any inconvenience but the new expensive packaging laws make it impossible.
